In this episode of the Up Close podcast, we’re joined by management researcher Professor Graham Sewell to look at workplace surveillance (known to some as employee monitoring), its measurable utility, and the considerable unease it creates in our offices and factories.

“If a company’s telling me they trust me but there’s surveillance all around, it kind of sends that message that, well, maybe they’re not really being straight up about it,” says Professor Sewell.
